About Us

After teaching for 12 years I began homeschooling my two children and crafting. Crafting had been a passion of mine for many years but I had always done it only for myself and family. After a few years, I decided to try my hand at a holiday handmade shop called Homespun Elegance. We started with a lease for only three months for the holiday season in 2017. The store was a success and we decided to stay. After 6 years at Valley West Mall we moved to Historic Valley Junction in 2023. In 2024 we rebranded to the name Iowa Made Market

At Iowa Made Market we offer a variety of handmade merchandise created by Iowa based artisans. Our inventory changes weekly- so there is always something new to see.

We take custom orders on most items in the store and even take customs that people bring in to us from other sources like Pinterest or Etsy. We offer unique and unforgettable merchandise giving you the opportunity to give that perfect gift for yourself or someone else, every time.
